What can I use to fill the children's sand pit?
 
Use Play Sand, it's recommended for use in children's play areas and is specially washed and graded for safe, clean fun. Make sure you have a secure fitting lid over the sand pit so that you can close it away when the children have finished playing. This will keep out the rain and stop visiting cats from using the sand as a litter tray.
