There will always be odd days of warm weather during the winter and any existing slugs and snails will to continue to grow, feed and breed throughout these mild spells, at the first opportunity, thus expanding the waiting population. It’s vital to get to grips with these pests before they wreak havoc, but it is also essential to do so responsibly. Westland’s New Slug Buster is designed to be used sparingly. Not only does that make each pack extremely great value for money, but it ensures that pets, children and wildlife are not put at risk. A sparse scattering of these tiny pellets is a safe and effective way to control slugs and snails and when applied during December and January will deal with any pockets of pests still active during the colder weather. This means that when the weather improves in spring the size of the slug population ready to breed is vastly reduced.
Slug Buster is based on a pasta technology which is rain fast and lasts longer in the rain. This special new rain and mould resistant formula keeps the pellets working longer and less likely to break up after a rain shower. This means that they will not need replacing as often as some other slug pellets and will deter slugs and snails effectively.
Slug Buster contains Metaldehyde and for safety reasons it also contains a unique stench agent designed to deter dogs and an animal repellent to minimise any risk to domestic animals.
Uses:
Apply on a warm, damp evening when slugs and snails are active. Do not apply just before rain.
For use on bare soil around edible and non-edible plants, protected and outdoors.
This product contains metaldehyde, which can kill if eaten, store in a safe place away from children and pets.

How can I use slug pellets safely in my garden?
When used as instructed on the label, Slug Buster is a safe and very effective way to control slugs. This special formulation contains deterrents to discourage animals and pets from eating them.
Use Slug Buster at the recommended rate only, applying pellets sparingly as directed on the instructions. Use responsibly and do NOT pile it up in heaps around the garden.
