Orchid Compost

Specially formulated compost that has very good drainage properties, leading to first class root development-vital to the success of all orchid varieties. It also contains all the vital nutrients orchids need to allow the plants to flourish. This compost includes organic matter from sustainable natural resources for more environmentally friendly growing conditions.

Uses:
Can be used for potting new plants, re-potting when the orchid has outgrown its container or if the compost is old and needs replacing.

Feeding:
During the growing and flowering season, feed your plants with a half strength solution of Feed-All Dilute N' Grow. Feeding varies according to species so follow any instructions carefully. As a general rule feed every third watering in the active growing season and reduce to every sixth watering in the winter.

The compost contains a balanced fertiliser complete with trace elements and has a pH of 5.5 to 6.0. 

I've got a few orchids that have become very pot bound. If I repot them can I use ordinary compost?
