Growing Tomatoes in Instant Planters
For the tastiest tomatoes you can't beat growing your own. Choosing seed gives you greater control over what you grow, as there are dozens of varieties to choose from. As a general rule greenhouse tomatoes can be sown from January as they will not be planted outside and be at risk of frost damage. Outdoor tomatoes can be sown in May.
Tackle weeds when they are actively growing from around April onwards. Use the New revolutionary Ready to Use Resolva 24H and follow our Summer Weed Killing Guide. It deals with the weeds instantly from top to bottom by applying a contact weedkiller for fast results and a systemic action weedkiller that works at the root level to destroy the weeds from the roots up.
Keep the momentum going on the patio and fill pots and containers with summer flowering bulbs for months of colour and interest. You can’t go wrong with bulbs, they are already raring to go, you simply have to plant them. You can colour theme them, pair them with contrast or opt for a harlequin effect and plant a mixture. Whatever you choose they will create a stunning effect and brighten the whole garden, see Planting up pots of summer bulbs.
A quick and easy project to enhance your garden is to make-over a spring container, see Spring container make-over
